The annual KidsVoice gala, "KiteTails and Cocktails," has a tie-in straight from the "Heartland" -- a new TNT TV show from Pittsburgher David Hollander ("The Guardian"), starring Treat Williams as a transplant surgeon. "Heartland" debuts June 11, and you can be a part of the show: Among the auction items at the gala is a day with Hollander and an appearance as an extra on the show, with travel to L.A. included.

The gala is 7 to 11 p.m. tomorrow at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh and serves as a kickoff to Kites for Kids, a free family event with games, crafts and kite-flying demonstrations, at Station Square's Spring Fling April 21.

Tickets: $100, with registration at www.kidsvoice.org.
