The Farm to Table conference emphasizes to consumers and companies the benefits of eating locally grown food.

It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Bidwell Training Center on the North Side.

Meanwhile, the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture's Spring Farm Dinner starts at 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Rivers Club, One Oxford Centre, Downtown. The $75-per-person dinner is a five-course meal paired with wines and beers produced by local farmers and artisans and prepared by local chefs.
