TASTE OF PARIS

At 6 p.m. Tuesday, LePommier Bistro Francais and Silver Eye Center for Photography are collaborating on a special event in conjunction with an exhibit of photographs of Paris on display at Silver Eye, 1015 E. Carson St., South Side. The evening begins at the gallery with an original multimedia presentation of French songs by Christopher Jones, Carnegie Mellon professor of French Studies. Following the musical entertainment, guests will continue to Le Pommier at 2104 E. Carson for a three-course dinner that includes two glasses of wine. $60; call 412-431-1810 (Silver Eye) to reserve.

Lucca Ristorante, 317 S. Craig St., Oakland, has announced a wine dinner for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The five-course dinner will be paired with wines made from Old-World varietals by Michel Beaulac at St. Supery Winery in Napa Valley. Dinner is $90 plus tax and gratuity. Call 412-682-3310.

NEW CHEF
