U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. will be at Duquesne University April 4 to receive the second annual Carol Los Mansmann Award for Distinguished Public Service.

The award is named for a Duquesne graduate who was the first woman on the federal bench in Pennsylvania. Retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor was the first award recipient in 2001.
