Friday, March 02, 2007

The Post-Gazette reviews movies from a family perspective:

'Wild Hogs'

Rated: PG-13.

Best for: Teens and up.

What you should know: Bored, middle-aged suburban buddies (Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy) on a 2,000-mile motorcycle ride meet a real biker gang, quirky townies and a cute woman.

Language: Some obscenities and lots of crude, sexually explicit comments.

Sexual situations and nudity: A family with children jumps into a pond with four nude men, and a gay sexual predator makes repeated crude advances on men. No frontal nudity, but buttocks are exposed.

Violence/scary situations: Pervasive pratfalls and slapstick comedy, explosions, highway peril, motorcycle crashes and gang fight sequences, and one man is beaten repeatedly.

Alcohol and drug use: Beer and other alcoholic beverages are consumed.
