Education
California University of Pennsylvania named Ronald W. Wagner interim dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Research effective July 1. Dr. Wagner will succeed Thomas G. Kinsey, who plans to retire at the end of this academic year.

Pittsburgh Child Guidance Foundation elected its 2007 officers for the Board of Trustees. President: Jane C. Burger, partner, Speedwell Inc.; vice president: Claudia L. Health and Medicine
I. William Goldfarb, M.D., was named medical director of The Western Pennsylvania Hospital Burn Center, the region's only burn center to have received verification from the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeon's Committee on Trauma.
The Centers for Rehab Services named Craig Maartmann-Moe director of its McCandless facility. The Centers is a partner of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and affiliated with the UPMC Institute for Rehabilitation and Research.
Law
Michele K. Yoder, a patent agent has joined The Webb Law Firm. Ms. Yoder has an extensive background in mechanical, chemical and medical arts, as well as research experience in areas involving anti-cancer drugs and polymers.
Tucker Arensberg P.C. announced that Edward C. Spontak and Danielle L. Hodnicki have joined as associates. Mr. Spontak joined the litigation department. He handles products liability, construction and commercial cases and has litigated claims in twenty-five states. Ms. Hodnicki joined the litigation department and concentrates her practice in general civil litigation and workers' compensation.
Grogan Graffam P.C. announced that the attorneys of Miller & Miller LLP joined the firm on Jan. 1 in the business transactions practice group. Kenneth R. Miller joins as a shareholder.
