Live Nation won't be unveiling the Post-Gazette Pavilion season for a month or so, but a few shows are popping up here and there.

Fall Out Boy, who just released a new album, "Infinity on High," this week, will headline the Burgettstown venue on May 22 with Cobra Starship, Paul Wall, +44 and The Academy Is. Tickets are $19.50 to $35 and go on sale Feb. 17 at www.livenation.com and Ticketmaster outlets (412-323-1919).

Southern rockers wave the flag July 6 with the Charlie Daniels Band Volunteer Jam, featuring The Outlaws and the Marshall Tucker Band.

Also, the Vans Warped Tour is listing a Pittsburgh date of Aug. 8, most likely for the Post-Gazette Pavilion. So far, the band lineup includes Bad Religion, New Found Glory, Coheed & Cambria, Pennywise and Underoath.

As mentioned earlier this week, the free OzzFest is expected to stop there, probably in August. No word yet on ticket sales for these shows.

Bassist remembered

Bassist David "Puff" Lancaster will be remembered tomorrow at Puffalooza, a benefit concert at White Tavern, Route 51, five miles north of Uniontown.

The concert will help raise money for the care of his three children (ages 3, 8 and 11). Lancaster, from Confluence, was shot and killed on Dec. 3 in Garrett County, Md., where he worked at an automotive garage, according to organizer Sonia Minghi. The bassist, who would have turned 30 in March, played in such metal bands as Red Rum and In Vein.

Red Rum will perform, along with Skin-n-bonez, Chastity, Blacklist, Pivot, Blacktooth Grin, Dangerous Inc. and Hillbilly Review. There will also be a free buffet and raffle items, including a guitar signed by Rusted Root and a football autographed by Ben Roethlisberger. Doors open at 2 p.m., bands start at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $10. Call 724-557-5187. Donations can also be sent to the David "Puff" Lancaster Memorial Fund, Box 173, Addison, PA 15411.

German official visits museum

Jurgen Wilhelm, general director of the German Development Service, was in the United States last week to visit Washington, D.C., New York City -- and the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

Wilhelm saw the museum's traveling exhibition "Born of Fire" when it opened Sunday at the Rhineland Industrial Museum in Oberhausen. The 142 paintings, prints and photographs of Southwestern Pennsylvania industrial sites are from the museum collection and were exhibited at the Westmoreland June through September of last year. They will remain in Oberhausen through May 1.

After speaking with representatives of the Westmoreland -- director/CEO Judith O'Toole, curator Barbara Jones and trustees Harley Trice and Bruce Wolf, who flew to Germany for the opening event -- Wilhelm added a swing through Western Pennsylvania to his formerly scheduled business itinerary.
