When they leave the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 11, their haul will include hair care products from Izzazu International Salon, Downtown.

Stylists Emilio Cornacchione and Gino Chiodo, founders of the upscale hairtique on Boulevard of the Allies, said 200 celebrity goody bags will get all five products from the custom FAB FIVE IZ collection: Volumizing Mousse Gel, Supreme Shaping Spray, Maximum Style Booster, Shine Shine Shine and Magical Molding Putty. Each set retails for $100.

"We're excited," said Mr. Chiodo. "It ranks real high" with the duo's appearances on America's Store and Home Shopping Network.

"Definitely, we're going to go out there next year. It happened too quickly for us, but the fact that the products are going to be there representing us and the fact that stars are going to be using our products, it's like a dream come true."

Speaking of hair Downtown, Le- Kurion Hair Salon celebrates its grand opening with a private bash Feb. 8. Elliott Simpson opened LeKurion in the Investment Building in September.

Vote for best in beauty

We Americans love to make -- and read -- "top" lists of the best this or the worst that. It's a compulsion that encompasses seemingly everything from toasters and flat-screen televisions to automobiles and poorly dressed celebrities.

The most credible lists may be those that rely on people to rate something they have tried, and Allure magazine is doing that again this year with its annual "Best in Beauty" awards. The monthly magazine is looking for women's "most indispensable, crave-inducing beauty products" for the 2007 Readers Choice Awards.

Nominations can be made at allure.com/go/readerschoice; a ballot is also included in the February issue of Allure. Winners will be highlighted in the June issue and all nominators will automatically be entered for a chance to win one of 26 prizes, including a $5,000 trip for two to a spa.
