The Cultural District, home to an ever-expanding landscape of galleries and performance spaces, flicks on the lights on Friday for the first Gallery Crawl of 2007 and the first one for adults since last September.

Highlights include openings at Wood Street Galleries, Watercolors Gallery, 707 Penn Gallery and Future Tenant, along with an eclectic music mix from the New Wave rock of Shade, the vintage country of Slim Forsythe and the Parklane Drifters to the acoustic rock of Red Moon Run.

Space will be the place for a new exhibit with psychedelic humor and the old school music of DJ Pete Spynda of Pandemic.

The Crawl runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday and it's all free. Go to www.pgharts.org for updates.
