District College Basketball Roundup: Youngstown State held on for a 76-71 win against Loyola

Youngstown State (7-7, 2-1 Horizon League) made 56.3 percent of its shots (18 for 32) in the first half to take a 46-29 lead, then held on for a 76-71 home victory against Loyola (9-5, 1-1). Keston Roberts led Youngstown with 30 points.

Westminster (6-5) made 13 of 36 3-point attempts in a 98-73 win against Marietta in the MC Shrine tournament title game. Ryne Murray had 23 points and 11 rebounds for Westminster. ... Guard Ryan Gerber scored a career-high 27 points as Grove City (4-6) defeated Wright State-Lake (6-12), 87-77, in overtime in Bluffton, Ohio. ...
