PBT to perform at Wolf Trap in August
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre will perform at Wolf Trap's Filene Center in Vienna, Va., near Washington, D.C., on Aug. 21, 2007. The company first performed there in 1993 under artistic director Patricia Wilde, featuring Lisa de Ribere's "The Mighty Casey," and returned in 2004 under Terrence Orr with a pair of Sting ballets. For its upcoming performance, PBT will bring a program that includes Twyla Tharp's "Nine Sinatra Songs." Wolf Trap's dance line-up currently includes Paul Taylor Dance Company (June 26), Doug Varone & Dancers (July 24) and Trey McIntyre Project (Aug. 7).
