Question: With all these unsportsman-like and personal foul penalties, do you think the coaches have lost control of the team?
Robert Mazurek, New Windsor, NY
BOUCHETTE: No, they haven't lost control. Believe me, when a coach loses control of a team, a lot more goes on than a handful of personal fouls. Bill Cowher, while obviously not happy with the penalties, explained that more are being called around the league this season. Remember, Joey Porter was thrown out of a game in 2004 before it even started because he was involved in a fight in Cleveland. This stuff has been going on forever, but the fact they are 2-6 as defending Super Bowl champs has attracted more attention to it, and given as one more reason why the Steelers are in free fall.
