Richard L. Grinberg, 65, died after a four-year battle with amyloidosis, according to his wife, Ellen Pasekoff Grinberg.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania who also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, Mr. Grinberg worked for Ketchum MacLeod & Grove and Della Femina.
After leaving advertising and taking a year off, Mr. Grinberg went to work for the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance. He left there to become associate director of the United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh Foundation.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Grinberg is survived by his mother, Dorothy Amdur Grinberg of Oakland; a son, Bryan J. Grinberg and a daughter, Edye S. Grinberg, both of Scottsdale, Ariz; two brothers, Max Grinberg Warren of Rochester, N.Y., and Robert A. Grinberg of Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Shadyside. Visitation will be 2 to 3 p.m. Interment will be in Beth Shalom Cemetery.
