Both David Nasaw, author of "Andrew Carnegie," and David Cannadine, author of "Mellon: An American Life," are visiting their subjects' hometown to talk about their books.

Nasaw speaks at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Carnegie Library, Oakland. A book signing will follow. The event is free, although a $5 donation is suggested. 412-622-3114.

Cannadine is scheduled for two days of lectures and signings here Nov. 8-9.
