Monday is the observance of Columbus Day.
State, county and federal offices and courts are closed. There will be no mail delivery, but it will be collected. City offices are open, with garbage collections on the regular schedule. Banks are closed, although those located in grocery stores may be open. Port Authority runs on regular schedules.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers will be closed today and Monday, but some services are online.
Liquor stores will be open.
The Columbus Day parade at 11 a.m. today will begin at Baum Boulevard and Liberty Avenue and proceed down Liberty to the reviewing stand near the Bloomfield Bridge.
