Burt Hill hired new employees in its Butler office: Greg Jarold, contract administrator, legal department; Sarahann Bordick, technical specialist for plumbing and fire protection; and Diane Bookwalter, electrical engineer.

Associations/Organizations

Marc J. Navarre, president and chief executive officer, All-Clad Metalcrafters LLC, was elected to the board of the International Housewares Association (IHA). He begins his three-year term Oct. 1.

Kathy DiLorenzo was installed as president-elect of the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA). She is currently vice president of National Reporter Relations for VITAC's parent company, Merrill Corp.

Tom Waseleski, editorial page editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has been elected secretary of the National Conference of Editorial Writers.

Heidi A. Sherman, of Thomas M. Mulroy and Assoc., P.C., has been appointed as a mediator to the United States District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania Alternative Dispute Resolution program. She was also recently elected to a one-year term on the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania Board of Directors.

Merchants National Bank announced the hiring of Ed Wielgus as senior vice president, chief lending officer.

Consulting

Walker Benefits, Inc. has accepted Scott Stone as a new owner. He is chief information officer for Carbis Walker LLP.

Herman Millstine recently joined Lord's International as general manager of operations.

Lea E. Anderson, shareholder, Goehring Rutter & Boehm, was named to the West Virginia University College of Law Visiting Committee.

Robert T. Harper, shareholder, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office, joined the University of Pittsburgh School of Law's Board of Visitors. He serves as co-chair of the Health Care Section.

The University of Pittsburgh's Gertrude E. and John M. Petersen Institute for NanoScience and Engineering has added 13 affiliated faculty. The institute's NanoScale Fabrication and Characterization Facility, to be located in Benedum Hall, will open Sept. 29. Tube City IMS Corp. promoted Hideyuki Nishizawa to senior vice president, International Trade, Tube City Division, Chicago office; Scott Clark, district manager - Ohio Region, Hudson, Ohio, office; Michael T. Eller has joined as director of financial analysis, Glassport office; and Mark A. Wagner joined the IMS Division as a project engineer, Horsham, Pa., office.
