Sunday, September 24, 2006

An unruly passenger delayed a Southwest Airlines flight bound for Pittsburgh yesterday morning.

Airlines spokesman Ed Stewart said the unidentified man made threats regarding the aircraft as he was boarding the plane with his wife in Orlando, Fla.

"He said something inappropriate," Mr. Stewart said. "His wife claims he suffers from a bi-polar mental condition."

The 9:30 a.m. flight was delayed two hours.
