FUND-RAISERS
Chippewa -- Beaver County Humane Society will hold an Autumn Pet Walk on Oct. 8, beginning approximately 1:45 p.m. at Shelter 7 in Bradys Run Park. Registration starts at 11 a.m. Walkers should obtain monetary pledges in advance. Prizes will be awarded for different pledge levels. Crafton -- A daylong fund-raising event called Crafton Celebrates Art will be held Sept. 30 at Crafton Public Library, 140 Bradford Ave. An exhibit and sale, including paintings, photos, jewelry, pottery, wood carvings and more, will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free. A private VIP reception will be from 4 to 5. The library reopens at 5 for an art, wine and cheese gala. Tickets are $10. Proceeds benefit the library's Expansion Fund. Call 412-922-2528.
Crafton -- CIT Baseball/Softball will hold its annual Cow Patty Bingo on Oct. 15 at CIT Meyer-Middleton Field Complex. A maximum of 3,000 tickets are available at $10 each.
