WBGN's late-night horror TV show will be hosting Pittsburgh's first Zombie Walk in the South Side on Friday.
The walk is an organized public gathering of two or more people who dress up in zombie costumes, usually taking place in an urban center, often ending up in a local cemetery.
The Pittsburgh Zombie Walk will begin at the Town Tavern at 8 p.m. and end an hour later, three blocks away, at the Rex Theatre, where there will be a show with live music, a Halloween show taping and a screening of the 1968 classic "Night of the Living Dead," by Pittsburgh's own George Romero.
