The Sprout Fund and Alpha Chimp Studio are calling for "creative young thinkers and regional leaders" to gather for a collaborative design symposium called "The Idea Roundup" at the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, Downtown, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.

The event will launch the Sprout Fund's "Engage Pittsburgh 2006" initiative for regional progress.

Twenty local artists will illustrate ideas that result from the small-group sessions, and Sprout Fund will release $100,000 for projects that grow directly from the event.
