Port Authority has created two new minibus routes to serve the Community College of Allegheny County's West Center, which will open in the fall on McKee Road in North Fayette.

Route 25C Hankey Farms will serve Pittsburgh Technical Institute, Community College of Allegheny County-West Campus, WalMart and the Mall at Robinson. And new Route 28M Campbells Run will serve Campbells Run Road, replacing the 28E service along the road.

To enhance service on the West Busway, Routes 28E Robinson-Imperial Express, 28F Forest Grove Express, 28G Oakdale Express and 33F McDonald Express now serve all stations for pickup and discharge inbound and outbound.

Another change involves Route 28K Moon Express, which will discharge only inbound and pick up only outbound at all West Busway stations. Also two trips are added each morning and afternoon.

Here are other changes involving West routes that are part of the seasonal schedule changes:

16A Ohio River Boulevard -- The weekday 8:25 a.m., 8:50 a.m. and 9:20 a.m. outbound trips now serve the Carnegie Science Center.

21A Coraopolis -- The travel time has changed for one Bank Street at Walnut Street trip.

25A Robinson-Moon-Corao- polis -- The 2:19 p.m. Saturday trip arriving at the Neville park-n-ride also terminates at the lot. Customers must transfer to another bus leaving the lot at 2:28 p.m. to continue to Moon and Robinson.

26A Ingram-Sheraden via Elliott -- This route will have buses equipped with bike racks. Also, additional weekday morning and afternoon trips begin serving the Crafton-Ingram Shopping Center, Fairywood and Sheraden.

26B Fairywood -- An additional afternoon trip operates serving Crafton-Ingram Shopping Center, Corliss, Elliott and Downtown.

26D Chartiers City -- This route will have buses equipped with bike racks. Also, additional weekday morning and afternoon trips begin serving the Crafton-Ingram Shopping Center, Fairywood and Sheraden.

26E Robinson Imperial -- Travel times have changed for several trips. Service has been reconfigured to serve the Pittsburgh Technical Institute and Community College of Allegheny County-West Campus. Most trips serve the Pointe at North Fayette.

28E Robinson Imperial Express -- Travel times have been adjusted. This route will no longer serve Campbells Run Road. Buses will now board and discharge customers (inbound and outbound) along the West Busway at the Bell, Idlewood, Crafton, Ingram and Sheraden stations.

28F Forest Grove -- Times have changed and trips operating between Forest Grove and I-79 have been discontinued. This route now boards and discharges riders (inbound and outbound) along the West Busway at the Bell, Idlewood, Crafton, Ingram and Sheraden stations.

28G Oakdale Express -- This route now boards and discharges riders (inbound and outbound) along the West Busway at the Bell, Idlewood, Crafton, Ingram and Sheraden stations. The inbound 28G trip leaving Bayer at 4:27 p.m. will now leave at 4:29 p.m. This trip will operate two minutes later.

28K Moon Express -- Two morning and two afternoon trips have been added, doubling the number of trips to and from Oakland. Those trips will leave University Boulevard approximately every 30 minutes between 5:54 and 7:21 a.m., with afternoon return trips leaving Fifth Avenue at North Craig Street approximately every 30 minutes between 3:34 and 5:06 p.m. Those trips operate "discharge-only" inbound and "pickup-only" on outbound trips along the West Busway.

33F McDonald Express -- This route now boards and discharges riders (inbound and outbound) along the West Busway at the Bell, Idlewood, Crafton, Ingram and Sheraden stations.
