Police at California University of Pennsylvania and Washington County Coroner Tim Warco are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man found in a room in Longanecker Hall, a dormitory on campus.
Joseph Dennis Baker, of North Huntingdon, was not a student at the school but was apparently visiting a student. He was found about 6:30 p.m. Sunday by another student who was serving as a community assistant for university buildings, school spokeswoman Michele McCoy said.
University police said Mr. Baker arrived on campus around 3 a.m. that day. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:42 p.m.
Mr. Warco said an autopsy has been performed and there was no trauma to the body. He is awaiting toxicology test results before ruling how the man died.
Police don't believe anybody was with the man when he died.
