Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering Inc. noted the acquisition of C. B. Speicher Engineering LLC, whose founder Charles B. Speicher will remain with the new subsidiary of LSSE as senior engineer and will assist Kevin A. Brett, senior project manager, who was appointed office manager. Daniel S. Gilligan, LSSE vice president, was named president of C.B. Speicher.
Kennametal Inc. said the Kennametal Inc. Foundation will grant $100,000 to YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh Camp Kon-O-Kwee-Spencer in support of its program for special-needs children. The donation will help purchase and install Discovery Course Challenge Towers. The ropes course is one of few courses nationally that will be not only handicapped accessible but also specifically adapted for use by these populations. Each year Camp Kon-O-Kwee-Spencer is host to more than 5,000 special-needs adult and child campers from across the country.

Sherwin-Williams opened a store at 4950 William Penn Highway, Suite A, Murrysville. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Groundwater & Environmental Services,Inc. relocated its Western Pennsylvania office from Cranberry to Warrendale.
The Silk & Stewart Development Group of Pittsburgh opened a new office in Phoenix headed by David M. Jarand, an Arizona resident and a commercial real estate broker. The new office is located at 3344 East Camelback Road, Suite 107. Silk & Stewart is a full-service, commercial real estate development and property management company that specializes in creating neighborhood retail and commercial developments. Its projects have ranged from single-tenant retail buildings to mixed-use, multistory commercial properties.
Salsarita's Fresh Cantina opened at The Waterfront at 152 E. Bridge Street in Homestead. Owner is Tim Surati. The newest addition to the Salsarita's family incorporates the Quick Cantina Bar that provides customers a chance to grab a frozen beverage while enjoying a fresh-mex meal, enhancing the cantina-style dining experience. Salsarita's offers a wide variety of Mexican favorites. Hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Salsarita's is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C., with restaurants across the nation.
