Forbes Field wall dedication: 3 p.m. ... A plaque will be dedicated at the wall over which Bill Mazeroski's famous home run sailed that October afternoon in 1960 as baseball and government officials gather to rededicate the site in Oakland. Open to the public.

XM Satellite Radio Futures Game: 4 p.m. ... The stars of tomorrow play a nine-inning game at PNC Park that since its inception in 1999 has showcased the likes of Alfonso Soriano, Barry Zito and David Wright a. k. a. the stars of today. Gates open at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are: $20-$45.
Taco Bell Legends & Celebrity Softball Game: 7 p.m. ... This will follow the Futures Game, but no future stars in this one at PNC Park. Just plenty of laughs as stars of film, TV and music gather for a friendly game (unless you're Kenny Mayne). Among those scheduled to appear: Former Pirate Dave Parker, director Rob Reiner, former Steeler Franco Harris actress Leeann Tweeden. Tickets for the Futures Game also will be good for this game.

Home Run Derby: 8 p.m. ... Many of the top home run hitters at the break square off at PNC Park to see who can hit the most home runs.
