Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O'Connor has proclaimed today as Get Out the 25 Votes On-Line Day in the latest attempt to assure that the last-place Pirates are well-represented on the National League team for the All-Star Game at PNC Park July 11.

"I encourage fans to display their Pittsburgh pride and use their 25 on-line votes. Get on the Internet at www.city.pittsburgh.pa.us and link to the MLB All-Star voting page or go to www.pirates.com and vote before midnight on Thursday, June 29, 2006 for these deserving Pirate players. Let's work to put Pittsburgh's best on display on an international stage," said the mayor in his proclamation.
