Sewickley -- Students from The Watson Institute and Center for Young Musicians will take the stage at 6 p.m. tomorrow at The Watson Institute, 301 Camp Meeting Road. FARMERS MARKETS

Pine -- More local vendors have been invited to join township regulars during today's farmers market from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Pine Community Park, 230 Pearce Mill Road.

FUND-RAISERS

Cranberry -- Register for the Race for Virginia & Friends 5K Run/Walk to be held Tuesday at the township community park. Registration entry fee is $17 and includes a T-shirt. Race packet pickup will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Jaycees Shelter. Proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Research Fund at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh -- La Roche College will hold a Band and Bash fund-raiser for the marching band from St. Mary Academy in New Orleans July 8 at Gene's Last Chance, 2533 Penn Ave., Strip District. SPECIAL INTEREST

West Deer -- The West Deer-William Fish American Legion will rededicate the Bairdford World War II Honor Roll and Memorial at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Village of Bairdford, Bairdford Road. State Rep. Frank Dermody, D-Oakmont, will speak. World War II items will be displayed and a chorus and brass band will perform. Dinner will follow at St. Victor Church, Bairdford Road.
