PGA Tour
Event: Memorial Tournament
Where: Muirfield Village Golf Club, 7,300 yards, par 72, Dublin, Ohio.
When: Tomorrow-Sunday.
Purse: $5.75 million.
Winner's share: $1,035,000.
TV: ESPN, 3:30-6:30 p.m. tomorrow, 3-6 p.m. Friday, and KDKA, 3-6 p.m. Saturday, 2-6 p.m. Sunday.
Last year: Bart Bryant won the second of his three career PGA Tour titles, shooting 69-69-66-68 to beat Fred Couples by a stroke.
Last week: Jeff Maggert won the St. Jude Classic for his third PGA Tour title, closing with a 5-under 65 for a three-stroke victory over Tom Pernice Jr.
Notes: Jack Nicklaus is not in the field for the first time in tournament history. Nicklaus, 66, founded the event in 1976 and won the title in 1977 and '84. ... Tiger Woods, the 1999-01 winner, also is skipping the tournament. He has not played since tying for third in the Masters. His father, Earl, died May 3. ... Masters champion Phil Mickelson is playing in the event for the first time since 2002. Ernie Els, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, Stewart Appleby, Sergio Garcia and Jim Furyk also are in the strong field.

LPGA Tour
Event: ShopRite LPGA Classic
Where: Seaview Marriott Resort & Spa, Bay Course, 6,071 yards, par 71, Galloway Township, N.J.
When: Friday-Sunday.
Purse: $1.5 million.
Winner's share: $225,000.
Television: ESPN2, 3-5 p.m. Friday, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Last year: Annika Sorenstam won for the fifth time in her first seven 2005 events and the eighth time in 11 tour starts. She shot 67-65-64 for a four-stroke victory over Juli Inkster.
Last week: Hee-Won Han won the LPGA Corning Classic for her fifth LPGA Tour title, beating Meena Lee with a par on the fourth hole of a playoff.
Notes: Sorenstam is winless in six events since opening the season with a victory in the MasterCard Classic. She missed the cut three weeks ago at Kingsmill, the first time she failed to qualify for weekend play in an LPGA Tour event since 2002. ... Mexico's Lorena Ochoa and resurgent Australian star Karrie Webb also are in the field. Ochoa has two victories and four second-place finishes in her past six starts; Webb has two victories and two second-place finishes in her past five appearances. ... Michelle Wie will play in a U.S. Open sectional qualifier Monday at Canoe Brook in Summit, N.J. The 16-year-old Wie is attempting to become the first woman to qualify for the tournament.

Champions Tour
Event: Allianz Championship
Where: Tournament Club of Iowa, 6,779 yards, par 71, Polk City, Iowa.
When: Friday-Sunday.
Purse: $1.5 million.
Winner's share: $225,000.
TV: The Golf Channel, 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, 1-3:30 a.m., 6-8:30 p.m., 10 p.m.-midnight Saturday, 6-8:30 p.m., 10 p.m.-midnight Sunday.
Last year: Tom Jenkins won his sixth Champions Tour title, beating D.A. Weibring with a birdie on the second hole of a playoff.
Last week: Jay Haas won the Senior PGA Championship for his third consecutive Champions Tour victory, beating Brad Bryant on the third hole of a playoff at Oak Tree.
Notes: The event is in its second year at the Arnold Palmer-designed Tournament Club of Iowa after four years at Glen Oaks. ... Dave Eichelberger won the 1999 U.S. Senior Open at Des Moines Country Club.
