A 15-year-old boy riding an ATV died Sunday in Cambria County after he struck the side of a railroad overpass and was thrown several feet, state police said.

Neil Waksmunski, of Portage, was found 36 feet from his 1992 Suzuki ATV at 2 p.m. Sunday after he hit the railroad overpass on Jamestown Road in Portage.

He was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
