The death of 14-year-old McKeesport boy has been ruled a homicide by the Allegheny County medical examiner's office.

The medical examiner's office said Matthew Morgan died from a gunshot wound to the trunk.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, police and emergency personnel responded to a shooting at 2221 Highland Ave. where they found Matthew. He was pronounced dead at 10:05 p.m.

Allegheny County police officials were unavailable yesterday to provide details about the incident.
