The Hill District Gaming Task Force has invited all three applicants for the Pittsburgh casino license -- Isle of Capri Casinos Inc., Forest City Enterprises and PITG Gaming LLC -- to attend a community forum Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hill House Kaufmann Auditorium, 1835 Centre Ave.

In hosting the forum, the task force hopes to address the impact gambling will have on the community.

It also wants to hear how the plans of the applicants will affect the neighborhood.

The public is invited to attend and participate. The task force is a coalition of residents and community development, faith-based and human service organizations that has been meeting since February to address gambling-related issues.
