The American Cancer Society's annual Cancer Survivors Conference, which helps cancer survivors, their families, friends and caregivers, to deal with the disease, will be held in Pittsburgh on May 20 at The Great Hall at Heinz Field.
The featured speakers will be Sheila Solomon, genetic counselor, who will talk about cancer risk due to personal or family history and Dr. Devra Davis of the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Environmental Oncology and Dr. Maryann Donovan, who will talk about the links between the environment and cancer.
Deadline for registration is May 15. The conference is free for cancer survivors, and $5 for caregivers, family and friends, and includes parking, lunch and a T-shirt.
