Pittsburgh Social Venture Partners (PSVP) is launching a one-year fellowship opportunity for community-minded individuals working and/or living in Allegheny County. The fellowships are open to anyone over the age of 21 who is dedicated to making a significant impact on his/her community and would not otherwise have the financial means to join as a partner. Name Changes

AF&A, Adam Filippo & Associates Inc. changed its name to Brandtelligence, Inc.

Contracts

PWCampbell has won four new contracts for design/build services for the financial institution located throughout the mid-Atlantic region:

First Commonwealth Bank, new storefront facility in the South Side; Manasquan Savings Bank, operations center in Monmouth County, N.J.; Putnam Federal Credit Union, new storefront branch in Brewster, N.Y.; and Virginia Financial Group -- Planters Bank, new branch office in Harrisonburg, Va.

Adonix announced that Stedim selected Adonix X3 for its North American production and distribution operations in Concord, Calif.

The Community Design Center of Pittsburgh (CDCP) has signed a contract with Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to serve as a consultant for its Affordable Housing Program (AHP). Through this contract, the CDCP will review and evaluate the "Design & Construction" section of the applications submitted to the AHP for funding cycles in the spring and fall of 2006. The CDCP also will provide assistance in conducting a comprehensive review of the entire AHP in preparation for 2007.

Awards/Honors

Concurrent Technologies Corp. has received the 2005 Utility Automation & Engineering T&D Project of the Year Award in the category of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) engineering.

Federated Investors Inc. announced that two of its family of mutual funds received Lipper Fund Awards recognizing their category-leading performance.

Federated Kaufmann Small Cap Fund (FKASX) received the Lipper Fund Award in the small-cap growth fund classification for three-year risk adjusted performance as of Dec. 31. The fund was selected from 438 small-cap growth funds. The fund is managed by Lawrence E. Auriana, Hans P. Utsch, Aash M. Shah, and John Ettinger.

Federated U.S. Government Bond Fund (FEDBX) received the Lipper Fund Award in the general U.S. Government fund classification for three-year risk adjusted performance as of Dec. 31. The fund was selected from 143 U.S. Government funds.

Lipper based the awards on the calculation of consistent return for the three-year period ended Dec. 31.

Cathleen Wanserski, with ReMax New Horizon, recently was sent on an all-expenses paid trip to New Orleans courtesy of BNI (Business Network Int'l.) as the result of winning the 2005 membership drive for the organization. She is a member of the Powerful Connections chapter of BNI, a business referral organization that allows one person per professional specialty in each chapter.

The Pittsburgh Marriott North at Cranberry Woods was named 2005 Hotel of the Year by Marriott International. The award is based on several criteria, including excellence in associate satisfaction, guest satisfaction, quality assurance and financial performance. The hotel also recently won several awards at Marriott's Annual Eastern Regional Meeting in February. The hotel was recognized for excellence in these categories: Overall Satisfaction, Service Score, Problem Experience, In-Room Dining, and Best Overall Event Billing
