The Steelers will open their 2006 schedule with two prime-time, nationally broadcast games, among at least four night games on their schedule.
They follow their Thursday night kickoff game against Miami in Heinz Field by playing at Jacksonville Monday night, Sept. 18.
The defending Super Bowl champions also play two other night games -- Sunday Oct. 8 at San Diego and Thursday Dec. 7 at home to Cleveland.
Because the NFL will have a flex schedule for weeks 10-15 and week 17, the Steelers could be selected to play a few more Sunday night games that are now scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Team signs wideout Baker to one-year deal
Separately, the Steelers signed wide receiver Eugene Baker to a one-year deal Thursday.
The 6-foot-1, 167-pound Baker was drafted out of Kent State by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round of the 1999 NFL draft. He spent four season with the Falcons on their active roster and practice squad.
Baker also spent time on the practice squads of the Buffalo Bills and St. Louis Rams, before signing with the Carolina Panthers in 2003.
He was in New England's preseason training camp last year, but was released before the regular season.
