Jennifer Ernisse Stancil, a science educator with 10 years experience with programs in North Carolina and Alabama, has been named the director of the Girls, Math & Science Partnership at the Carnegie Science Center.

Ms. Stancil, who lives in North Carolina, also is co-author of the National Science Teachers Association position statement on informal science education. She previously headed Exploris, a Raleigh, N.C.-based educational program.
