Saturday, March 04, 2006

Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man they say fired shots at two cars that later crashed, seriously injuring two people in Allentown on Monday.

Brandon Alton, 21, is charged with shooting at the cars on Millbridge Street before they sped off and then collided with one another at Walter Street and Manton Way.

Mr. Alton has been charged with three counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault. He has also been charged with a firearms violation.

After Monday's crash, neighbors found Tyrrell Page and Maurice "Ruckus" Sampson, 22, both of Allentown, sprawled on opposite corners of the street. Mr. Page had a bullet wound to the head, and Mr. Sampson had been shot in the thigh and buttocks and had a severe spinal injury.

A third man, who police have not identified, was shot in the hand and taken into custody.

Anyone with information on Mr. Alton's whereabouts are asked to contact Pittsburgh homicide at 412-323-7161.
