Onorato's bet would bring salmon, cheese, Xbox
Saturday, February 04, 2006

Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato and Ron Sims, his counterpart in King County, Wash., are joining the Super Bowl betting fever.

In the event of a Seahawks victory over the Steelers, Mr. Onorato loses a case of sausages from Ricci's Italian Sausage in McKees Rocks, a sweet potato pie and two bottles of "soul sauce" from Heart and Soul Foods Inc. in Penn Hills, an official Andy Warhol print and a 50-inch, high-definition television from Pittsburgh's Sony Technology Center.

Mr. Sims' office is betting Pacific Northwest salmon, Beecher's gourmet cheese, and a Microsoft Xbox 360 Core System.

Mr. Onorato said he would donate the Xbox to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
