Research

The Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic are seeking parents who have a bipolar disorder and their children to participate in a study of bipolar disorder in families. Participants will be interviewed every other year for five years. The study involves no medication or treatments and participants will be compensated for their time. Call 412-246-5794 for details.

The University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute are in search of women who have a mother, sister, or daughter with a history of breast cancer. Participants are needed for a study to help understand how women decide what behaviors to do to reduce their own risk of breast cancer. The study consists of one session that will last approximately 50 minute and 1 or 2 follow-up phone calls that will last less than 2 minutes each.
