Port Authority board chairman re-elected

Labor official John A. "Jack" Brooks of Upper St. Clair has been re-elected chairman of the nine-member Port Authority board of directors.

Mr. Brooks, 63, executive secretary-treasurer of the Green Tree-based Greater Pennsylvania Regional Council of Carpenters, representing 15,000 members, has been a board member since 1995.

Guy A. Mattola was re-elected vice chairman last week.
