| Who got your vote for the hottest Steeler among nine nominees above?
|
With a final roster of 9,565 votes cast and counted, the Steelers' Troy Polamalu rolled up the most ballots in the online poll for the hottest Steeler among nine Black and Gold candidates.
The poll, a vastly unscientific exercise in entertainment, offered readers a chance to share their views on the well-documented appeal of some of the football team's most recognized figures.
With the close of voting as part of yesterday's AFC Championship game day, Polamalu had garnered 36% of the 9,565 votes followed by Hines Ward with 20% and Ben Roethlisberger with 19%.
Also rolling up esteem-building tallies from admirers were Jerome Bettis, 8%; Bill Cowher, 7%; Chris Hope, 2%; James Farrior, 4%; Antwaan Randle El, 2% and Joe Porter, 2%.
