Today: Memphis George contemporary jewelry trunk show, noon to 3 p.m. at GalleriE CHIZ, 5831 Ellsworth Ave., Shadyside.

Tuesday through Thursday: Semi-annual bridal veil and headpiece trunk show at Clarissa Boutique, 1700 E. Carson St., South Side.

Tuesday through Nov. 30: "Adapting Africa: African vs. African-Inspired Clothing Styles" is an exhibit at artspace 303, 303 E. Eighth Ave., Homestead. Featuring fashions by Ghanaian-born designer Dosina Blemahdoo, the exhibit is sponsored by Blemahdoo's African Market Place, Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area and Steel Valley Arts Council and funded by the National Park Service, Multicultural Arts Initiative, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Pennsylvania Heritage Parks Program and WDUQ. Exhibit hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free.

Wednesday: Accessory Drive and Holiday Jewelry Sale presented by Dress for Success Pittsburgh, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the agency's Dressing Boutique in Suite 1260 at the Regional Enterprise Tower, Downtown. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the nonprofit agency, which helps disadvantaged women gain and retain employment. Shoppers donating an accessory item will receive $5 off a jewelry purchase of $50 or more.

Friday and Saturday: Jewelry designer Gregg Ruth appears at a trunk show at Louis Anthony Jewelers, 1775 N. Highland Road at Norman Centre II, Bethel Park.

Friday and Saturday: Ecco Gore-Tex trunk show at Littles, 5850 Forbes Ave., Squirrel Hill.

Saturday: Jewelry designer Debbie Corr appears at a trunk show, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lucy, 510 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont.

Saturday: Anzie jewelry trunk show at Saks Fifth Avenue, 513 Smithfield St., Downtown.

Saturday: "Gear Up! Fashion for the Outdoors" hosted by Venture Outdoors is 6 to 9 p.m. at Society for Contemporary Craft, 21st at Smallman Street, Strip District. Series of mini-fashion shows featuring outdoor gear. Food, drink and auction items. Tickets are $50 and $100 at 412-255-0564.

Nov. 20: Bride's World Fashion Show & Exhibition presented by Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the hotel, Downtown. Highlights include trend experts, Caribbean honeymoon giveaway, more than 75 vendors, wedding mini-receptions every half hour and Catan Bridal fashion shows at 11 a.m., noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Free admission. Brides can register at the door or in advance at 1-800-724-1800 or bridesworld.com.
