Friday: Madame Tatiana Faberge, the last living member of the house of Faberge, visits the Duquesne Club, Downtown, to sign the company's collectibles at a 10:30 a.m. luncheon, shopping and informal modeling event. The Twenty-Five Club of Magee-Womens Hospital presents "Fabulous Faberge," and Ms. Faberge's appearance is courtesy of Louis Anthony Jewelers. Sale of men's, women's and children's clothes and accessories by Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, Vera Wang and other designers benefits nonsectarian community service projects. Open 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Sunday; and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 7. Free admission.
Nov. 20: Applications are available for the 2006 Miss Butler County USA pageant, which will be held Nov. 20 at Butler Days Inn. The winner competes in Miss Pennsylvania USA and possibly Miss USA and Miss Universe. Entrants must be at least 17 but not older than 25 on Feb. 1, 2006.
