Duquesne won its 35th consecutive game in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference -- the longest current conference streak in NCAA I-AA -- with a 22-14 victory at Marist yesterday.
The Dukes (4-3, 2-0), ranked No. 8 in The Sports Network I-AA mid-major poll, took a huge step toward their seventh consecutive MAAC championship as Scott Knapp passed for 202 yards and threw touchdown passes of 16 yards to Greg Hough and 12 to Travis Taltoan. Jeremy McCullough rushed for 80 yards and scored on a 13-yard run.
Knapp completed 19 of 31 passes, was intercepted three times and sacked twice. Duquesne limited No. 4 Marist (4-3, 1-1) to nine first downs and 113 yards total offense.

Monmouth 14, Robert Morris 0: The Colonials (2-5, 1-3 Northeast Conference) were shut out for the third time in their 12-year history and the first time since consecutive shutouts in 2002. The host Hawks (5-2, 3-1) capitalized on four recovered fumbles. Robert Morris freshman Erik Cwalinski completed 6 of 14 passes for 73 yards in his second consecutive collegiate start and senior Drew Geyer was 3 of 12 for 14 yards.
Albany State 25, St. Francis 16: Anthony Doria completed 29 of 54 passes for 293 yards for St. Francis (2-5, 2-2 NEC) but it wasn't enough against visiting Albany (2-5, 2-2).
Thiel 34, Westminster 0: The Tomcats (7-0, 5-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference) are 7-0 for the first time since 1950 when they finished 7-0. Darrell Satterfield passed for 334 yards and four touchdowns for Thiel, 20th in the American Football Coaches Association Division III poll, its highest ranking ever. Westminster (3-4, 1-3) had minus-3 yards rushing and 153 total yards.
IUP 28, Lock Haven 23: IUP (4-4, 3-1 PSAC West) defeated host Lock Haven (2-7, 0-4) for the 24th consecutive time as Chris Morgan rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns.
California 49, Cheyney 3: Antoine Bagwell rushed 20 times for 163 yards and four scores as California (6-2), 12th ranked in the Northwest Region, defeated visiting Cheyney (2-7).
Geneva 21, Walsh 20: Matt Brown came off the bench to throw two touchdown passes, including a 15-yarder to Bam Harmon in overtime, as Geneva (5-3) defeated No. 11 Walsh (6-2). Visiting Geneva rallied from a 14-0 deficit in the second quarter on Nathan Brandon's 4-yard touchdown run and Brown's 15-yarder to Harmon to send the game into overtime tied, 14-14. Brandon rushed for 160 yards on 36 carries.
Grove City 7, Waynesburg 6: Ken Roudybush scored on a 1-yard run with 8:33 to lift the host Wolverines (3-5) past Waynesburg (3-4).
Washington & Jefferson 63, Bethany 0: R.J. Zitzelsberger rushed 20 times for 122 yards and scored four touchdowns at W&J (7-1, 3-1 PAC) topped visiting Bethany (1-7, 0-6). W&J Had 658 yards total offense.
Washington (Mo.) 28, Carnegie Mellon 7: Nick Henry passed for 235 yards and three touchdowns and Brad Duesing had 12 catches for 190 yards and three touchdowns as visiting Washington (4-4) defeated CMU (3-4).
Frostburg State 45, Seton Hill 9: The visiting Bobcats (4-3) led, 42-7, at the half and handed the Griffins (1-7) their fifth consecutive defeat.
