The Dukes (2-3, 0-0), who play host to Saint Peter's (1-4, 0-1) at 1 p.m. today in homecoming at Rooney Field, have won 33 consecutive games against MAAC teams for the longest active conference streak in Division I-A and I-AA. Boise State is next with 27 in a row in the I-A Western Athletic Conference.

The longest all-time conference winning streak is Oklahoma's 44 in the Big Eight from 1952-59.

Duquesne is 11-0 against Saint Peter's.

Duquesne's offense has sputtered of late without wide receivers Bruce Hocker (broken collarbone) and Conrad Carter (internal organ injury). Without his top two deep threats, redshirt freshman quarterback Scott Knapp has seen his efficiency rating drop dramatically.

With Hocker and Carter in the lineup, Knapp completed 53.8 percent of his passes for 630 yards and three touchdowns. The numbers are 39.3 percent, 353 yards and four touchdowns in the three games minus Hocker and Carter.
