For Penn State fans, tomorrow's meeting against Ohio State is the game to see.

But for potential Lions' recruits, it's a game they won't be seeing -- at least not in person.

Earlier this week, coach Joe Paterno told the several recruits scheduled for official visits this weekend that their trips had been canceled, a source confirmed.

Though Beaver Stadium figures to have its most frenzied game-day environment in years, for the 7:45 p.m. game, Paterno believed he and his fellow coaches wouldn't be able to devote the necessary time to the recruits.

The Lions use only a few home games every year for official visits, preferring instead to have the visits on weekends without home games.

Penn State will attempt to reschedule the recruits' trips, if the players agree.
