A Harmony Township, Beaver County, man faces drug charges after Missouri police found 250 pounds of marijuana in a truck his company owns.
Thomas Throckmorton, 60, was arraigned yesterday on charges of possession with intent to deliver, possession, possession of drug paraphernlia and conspiracy. He was in the Beaver County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond.
According to a police affidavit, police found the marijuana during a traffic stop. The truck was registered to Industrial Construction Enterprise of 1001 Merchant St., Ambridge.
The driver agreed to cooperate, and on Monday arrived in Pennsylvania with the truck and, following Throckmorton's instructions, delivered the marijuana to Throckmorton's home on Ridge Road Extension. State police arrested Throckmorton there that evening.
