FOR CHILDREN

Jefferson -- Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Museum of Rural Life will offer a day camp Aug. 1- 5 for children who have finished first through sixth grades. Activities will include archaeological tours inside a rock shelter used by humans for 16,000 years, plus lessons about 19th century life. Transportation will be available from two locations. Charleroi -- Three art camps for kids will be available at the Charleroi Art and History Center. Actors and Artists will be July 25-29; Artists and Musicians, Aug. 1-5; and Artists and Authors, Aug. 8-12. Camps are available for children age 5 and older.
