A North Side man was shot three times early yesterday as he stood near a corner store with several people.

The 21-year-old victim, whose name was not released, was hit in the head, stomach and chest. He was in serious but stable condition at Allegheny General Hospital, police said. The shooting occurred at 2:20 a.m. in the 2500 block of Perrysville Avenue in the city's Perry South section.
