Two Natrona residents were wounded early yesterday when people invaded their Walnut Street home.
Harrison Police Chief Michael Klein said residents Thadius Samuels, 20, and Tiffany Daube, 24, were sitting on the couch when the suspects entered at 12:38 a.m. and opened fire.
Samuels was struck multiple times including in the stomach. He was taken by LifeFlight Hospital to Allegheny General Hospital.
His condition was unavailable last night.
Daube was struck in the hip. A police report said she was taken to Allegheny Valley Hospital but hospital personnel there said they had no listing for her.
Klein said it was initially unclear how the suspects entered the home but the front door may have been unlocked. Also, he said, the intruders are believed to have smashed at least one window in a Jeep Cherokee parked outside the residence.
