INDIANAPOLIS (37-23) won at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 12-5. Cory Stewart (4-4, 4.43) allowed four runs and seven hits in 5¹/₃ innings. 2B Cesar Crespo (.262) went 4 for 5 with two doubles and two RBIs. LF Nate McLouth (.315) had three hits. 1B Graham Koonce (.241) hit his 10th home run, 3B Ty Wigginton (.188) his second. Wigginton's was a three-run shot.

ALTOONA (31-26) beat Binghamton, 3-2, on RBI singles by RF Jorge Cortes (.294) and CF Rajai Davis (.308) in the bottom of the ninth. Davis had three hits and his 21st stolen base in 26 attempts. Cortes, LF Ray Sadler (.267) and C Carlos Maldonado (.286) each had two hits. Paul Maholm (3.28) allowed two runs and four hits in seven innings. Brady Borner (2-0, 1.35) pitched two scoreless innings of relief.
