YWCA to honor six prominent local women

Six prominent local women will be honored Wednesday at the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh's annual "A Tribute to Women" leadership awards luncheon at the Hilton Pittsburgh.

Now in their 23rd year, the awards honor leadership in the workplace, volunteerism in the community and contributions to the YWCA's goals of eliminating racism and empowering women and girls.

The awardees are Georgia Berner of Berner International; Dorothy A. Davis of Eckert, Seamans, Cherin & Mellott; Barbara A. McNees of the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce; Jeanne K. Clark of Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future; Kimberly Tillotson Fleming of Hefren-Tillotson Inc.; and Myrna Zelenitz of East End Cooperative Ministry.

The luncheon begins at noon, following a silent auction and a VIP reception at 11 a.m. Tickets for the event are $65.
